2、后者可修饰原级形容词、或副词（单音节除外），前者不能。
即多音节形容词、副词比较级：more expensive, intelligent, generous, frightened, anxiously
3、前者可以修饰不作形容词的分词，后者不能。
This film has ...
much和more可以连用修饰比较级，但不是以much more这个词组作用的。如These flowers are much more beautiful than those。这种修饰可以用，但much根本上是修饰more beautiful的，而不是以much more整体修饰比较级。
